We, too, have felt the sting of impersonal rejection slips from Ellery Queen and impolite critiquing from the nerds at Locus. And that’s if you even get a rejection slip- most of the time, your manuscript gets thrown away without even being looked at!
But we’re different. See, we don’t actively seek out so-called “professional” writers. They expect frivolous things like monetary compensation and galley proofs. Pfft. Spoiled brat divas, that’s what they are.
We seek out real writers- people with something to say. People with real talent.
(And most importantly, people that prefer to get paid in contributor’s copies!)
